In other words, he was and is a dispassionate and disinterested source in the strict sense of the word with no overt agenda.
All he did back then was to be true to the principles of science by following, to the best of his ability and knowledge, where the evidence led him.
Unfortunately, we have people today like the militant atheist PZ Myers and the pseudo-internet “scientist” going by the name of ‘Lactantius’ who have an agenda and, thus, a policy of absolute denial even to the point of thick-headedness and compounded ignorance.
Moore was obviously exposed to a detailed internal critique of the Qur’anic vis-a-vis the subject of embryology. In other words, unlike Myers, “Lactantius”, et al., Moore took the research seriously and made conclusions based on a certain level of knowledge necessary to do justice to this subject.
Still, as a Muslim, my supplication to God is that He open Moore’s heart to Islam before the inevitable.
After hearing Dr. Keith Moore’s response to whether or not he has accepted Islam …There are many more quotes other than the signs of Allah (science/embryology) I would have asked him to explain more quotes in the Qur’an… Starting with the following Yusuf Ali English translation:
Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow): (Verses 168-170):
“(168)O you people! Eat of what is on Earth, lawful and good, and do not follow in the footsteps of Satan, for he is to you an avowed enemy. (169) For he commands you what is evil and shameful, and that you should say of Allah that of which you have no knowledge.
(170) When it is said to them: “Follow what Allah has revealed”, they say: “Nay! We shall follow the ways of our fathers.” What! Even though their fathers were void of wisdom and guidance?”
But please brothers and sisters …Let us not debate and argue. The prophet’s (saw) job was to warn of the hereafter, not to convert or argue. Follow his example and warn (however many years it takes for family!!) But leave the changing of heart up to ALLAH.

Embryo in quram doesn’t contradict with modern science even a bit by there are plenty of buttholrs who are not ready.to accept Tue truth and are asserting ill narayiond by saying prophet Mohammed palagraised Quran from ancient writings which is completely false.
By teachings of Islam, I think he became a non practicing Muslim. Islamic Scholars can give the correct answer. But he believed on Jesus PBUH as prophet of God rather than a son of god and also he accepts that Prophet Muhammad SAW was the Prophet of God. Rest, we can leave to Allah and him but he already gave the testimonial that there is one God and Prophet Muhammad SAW was messenger of Allah. (The first Kalima)
