When combined with the information provided by the Qur’an and Ancient Egyptian sources (including archaeological and documentary evidence) there are a sufficient number of clues that point towards the New Kingdom period in general and to the Pharaoh Ramesses II in particular who reigned for about 66 years from 1279–1213 BCE.
